Caesarea Acts 27:1-2 Paul has been imprisoned for two years. He has appealed to Caesar. The centurion Julius of the Augustan cohort takes him and other prisoners on board.
Sidon Acts 27:3 The first stop. Julius treats Paul kindly and lets him go ashore to his friends.
Myra in Lycia Acts 27:5-6 Because of headwinds they sail north of Cyprus. At Myra the centurion finds an Alexandrian grain ship bound for Italy.

The storm (Euroclydon) Acts 27:13-38 The hurricane Euroclydon seizes the ship. For fourteen days they see neither sun nor stars. All hope is abandoned. Paul stands up: "An angel told me last night: Do not be afraid, you must stand before Caesar. God has granted you all those who sail with you."
Malta (the shipwreck) Acts 27:39 – 28:10 The ship runs aground and breaks up – but all 276 reach land alive. The islanders light a fire. A viper bites Paul, but he shakes it off. They expect him to fall down dead – when he does not, they say he is a god. He heals the father of Publius, the chief man of the island.

Three Taverns Acts 28:15 Another group of brothers meets them here, 50 km from Rome.
Rome Acts 28:16-31 Paul is allowed to live by himself with a soldier guarding him. For two whole years he proclaims the kingdom of God and teaches about the Lord Jesus Christ – "with all boldness and without hindrance". The last words of Acts.
