A place near Pirathon (q.v.), in the tribe of Ephraim (Judg 12:15).

("Hill-country of the Amalekites" (Judg 12:15)): The Amalekites are usually connected with the valley (Num 14:25; Judg 7:12), but appear from this passage to have had a settlement in the hill country of Ephraim.
